Moving beyond abstract theory, we tackle the tactical logistics of immediate classroom management, equipping you to handle chaotic arrivals and missing resources. (Note: This works as a standalone module or builds upon our 'Reality of Supply Teaching' course). What You Will Learn: Designed to maximise practical retention, this module strips away the fluff to deliver an actionable toolkit. You will learn to: Master the Arrival: Recognise exactly how to start a lesson effectively, whether you arrive to an empty room before the learners (LO1) or walk into a chaotic classroom after them. Execute Information Triage: Find vital 'Safety' and 'Order' information in under three minutes and use the 'Silent Command' to reset a noisy room instantly. Shatter Anonymity: Confidently enforce seating plans to establish immediate authority. Overcome Planning Failures: Identify and implement rapid strategies—like the 'Emergency Holding Task' and 'Extension Multiplier'—when provided with a 'bad' lesson plan or none at all.
