"I’ve stood at the front of the classroom. Now, I’m changing how we learn behind the screen."

I didn’t start my career in a tech hub; I started it in the corridors of Welsh and English-medium schools across Wales. As a Humanities and Welsh language teacher, I’ve lived the reality of a heavy timetable and the constant need for meaningful professional growth.

When I transitioned into Instructional Design, I saw a gap that needed filling. Too much eLearning is built by designers who prioritise 'flashy' visuals over actual learning. It might look professional, but it often ignores how the human brain processes information.

That’s why I founded Tyfu Learning.

Derived from the Welsh word to grow, Tyfu is built on the belief that educators deserve better. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Load Theory, stripping away distractions to focus entirely on the learner. By putting pedagogy first, I’ve helped organisations secure high-value contracts and achieved a 90% satisfaction rate.

I’m not just building slide decks; I’m building experiences that stick.
